GOP’s Brandon Gill Calls For Deporting Ilhan Omar Back To Somalia

Freshman GOP Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas sparked controversy by calling for Rep

Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) to be deported to Somalia, accusing her of aiding illegal immigrants. Gill shared a video where Omar advises undocumented Somalians on how to avoid ICE, prompting accusations from critics that she’s undermining U.S. law.

Gill later said Omar should never have been allowed into the country, while his office claimed her actions raise questions about her loyalty. Omar’s advice focused on legal rights during ICE encounters, amid Trump’s push for mass deportations led by Border Czar Tom Homan, who has emphasized aggressive enforcement, including in sanctuary cities.
