Mother and daughter live in a surprising container

Lulú, a young mother, made a bold choice to prioritize time with her daughter over a demanding work and study schedule.
After becoming pregnant and unable to afford rent, she moved into a 15-square-meter shipping container.

With just $4,000 and lots of creativity, she transformed it into a cozy home—adding a porch, garden, kitchen window, and later a trailer to expand the space. Now, her daughter has her own room to play and grow.

Lulú says, “When you don’t have money, it’s better to be creative. It’s all about how we choose to spend the hours of our lives.” Her story is a powerful reminder that happiness doesn’t require luxury—just love, resourcefulness, and purpose.
