Twin grandchildren haven’t met their famous grandad

Nicolas Cage, born into the legendary Coppola dynasty, changed his name to escape the shadow of his famous uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, and built a stellar career on his own—earning an Oscar, starring in blockbusters, and becoming a true “National Treasure.”

But behind the fame, Cage faces heartbreak. His son Weston’s ex-wife, Hila Arounian, has cut off all contact between Cage’s family and his twin granddaughters, Cyress and Venice. The bitter custody battle has left Cage and his ex, Christina Fulton, devastated.

Despite Cage’s deep commitment to family—once even turning down roles in The Matrix and Lord of the Rings to stay close to Weston—he’s never met his granddaughters, now four years old.

While Hila accuses Weston and his family of toxic behavior, the Cages say they’re fighting to reunite and heal.

A tragic behind-the-scenes saga for one of Hollywood’s most iconic—and eccentric—stars.
