Pandora Cooper-Key, the 51-year-old half-sister of Cressida Bonas—Prince Harry’s former girlfriend—has died after a lifelong battle with cancer. Pandora, daughter of nobleman Esmond Cooper-Key and Lady Mary Gaye Curzon, had faced serious illnesses for 24 years. She first developed Paget’s Disease, a rare kidney cancer, at age 26, then later survived a sarcoma in her left eye shortly after giving birth. Over the years, she endured multiple tumors in her cheek and behind her nose, eight surgeries, intense seizures, and significant facial damage.
In late 2023, she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor on the left side of her brain. Despite ongoing immunotherapy and many years of fighting, doctors told her surgery was impossible due to the tumor’s location. Pandora continued raising awareness for sarcoma, earning praise from Sarcoma UK for her openness, courage, and advocacy.
She is remembered as a beloved daughter, devoted mother of two boys, and cherished sister to her ten siblings, including Cressida Bonas. Sarcoma UK expressed deep condolences and said her compassion, strength, and lasting impact will continue to inspire their mission.
